Join the Ranger Staff Team
To have your staff application considered, you must:
- Submit an application to our office
- Get 3 adult references (one must be from a clergy member) to submit a reference form to our office
- Take our criminal record check form to a police station and get a criminal record check. You will need to bring ID and if you're a minor, a parent or guardian must be present to have the check performed. Submit the original criminal record check (photocopies or faxes are not acceptable) to our office.
Your application will not be reviewed until these forms are received.

Junior Volunteers

Jr. Cabin Leader (JC)
Jr. Cabin leaders assist our Sr. Cabin leaders at skills, in the cabins, at meals and much more. They must:
- Have a strong commitment to Jesus
- Be experiencing growth in their faith
- Be actively involved in a church youth group
- Have completed grade 10*
Wranglers
Wranglers assist our Riding Director, helping instruct skills and care for our horses. They must:
- Desire to grow spiritually
- Be familiar and comfortable working with horses
- Be ready for long hours of manual labour
- Preferably be able to attend one of our DIRT, Scope or Teen Camps
- Have completed grade 9*
Assistant Lifeguard
Assistant Lifeguards help the Head Lifeguard supervise pool activity and teach swimming lessons.
They must:
- Desire to grow spiritually
- Have completed Bronze Cross (National Lifeguard Service certificate is preferable)
- Preferably have Water Safety Instructors certificate
Leader In Training (LIT)
LIT's wash dishes, help keep the camp clean and participate in various work projects. They must:
- Desire to grow spiritually
- Have completed grade 9*
- Be ready for long hours of manual labour
- Preferably be able to attend one of our DIRT, Scope or Teen Camps
DIRT Camp LIT (guys only)
DIRT camp LIT's help hand out paintballs, clean paintball equipment and participate in various work projects. They must:
- Desire to grow spiritually
- Have completed grade 9*
- Be ready for long hours of manual labour
- Preferably be able to attend one of our DIRT or Teen Camps
*Please note that we do make exceptions to these grade requirements but only on a case by case basis. Preference is given to applicants meeting the grade requirement. If you do not meet the grade requirement by one year (eg: you completed grade 8 but want to be an LIT) you may submit an application.
Senior Staff
In addition to their respective expectations, Senior Staff often oversee and mentor Junior Staff members. Most of these are paid positions; for more information, contact our office.

Cabin Leader
- Strong commitment to Jesus
- Experiencing growth in their faith
- Actively involved in a church
- Graduated from High School (preferably out of High School for at least one year)
DIRT or Scope Tent Leader
- Must meet the Cabin Leader requirements which are listed above
- Ready for long days of physical activity
- Paintball experience preferred
*DIRT staff must be male while Scope staff must be female
Program Director
- Strong commitment to Jesus
- Experiencing growth in their faith
- Actively involved in a church
- Must be mature, reliable and a good role model for staff and campers
- Creativity, enthusiasm and public speaking skills an asset
Assistant Program Director
- Strong commitment to Jesus
- Experiencing growth in their faith
- Should show good potential for being a future Program Director (see above qualifications)
Riding Director
- Strong commitment to Jesus
- Experiencing growth in their faith
- Actively involved in a church
- Must have passion for Jesus, kids and horses
- Creativity, enthusiasm and lots of experience with horses public an asset
Head Lifeguard
- Strong commitment to Jesus
- Experiencing growth in their faith
- Actively involved in a church
- Must be 18 or older
- Must have up-to-date National Lifeguard Service and Water Safety Instructors certification
- Pool Operators course preferable
Adult Volunteer & Support Staff

We are looking for kitchen and maintenance volunteers who are over 16 years old, and nurses and speakers who are over 20 years old.
