Join the Ranger Staff Team
To have your staff application considered, you must:
- Submit an application to our office
- Get 3 adult references (one must be from a clergy member) to submit a reference form to our office
- Anyone 16 years of age or older must submit an original Police Check every 2 years. Contact us for how to have your record check done through our services online or visit your local police station.
Your application will not be reviewed until these forms are received.

Junior Volunteers

Jr. Cabin Leader (JC)
JCs work directly with the campers under the supervision of a Cabin or Tent Leader. JC’s are also involved in skills instruction, Bible Study, and all aspects of camp life. Preference will be given to those who have completed Work Crew already. Must be at least 16 years of age.
You are only allowed to work a maximum of 3 weeks as a JC.
Wranglers
Wranglers work alongside our Riding Director and barn staff to take care of the horses. They will assist in riding instruction and all aspects of the barn. They must come ready for long hours of work and must be familiar with horses. Must have completed Grade 9.
Assistant Lifeguard
Working directly under our head lifeguard to provide a safe and fun program at the pool. This person must be 16 years of age and have Bronze Cross or NLS certification. Please provide copies of certification with application.
DIRT Camp Jr (guys only)
DIRT camp Jr’s help hand out paintballs, clean paintball equipment and participate in various work projects. They must:
- Desire to grow spiritually
- Have completed grade 9
- Be ready for long hours of manual labour
- Preferably be able to attend one of our DIRT or Teen Camps

Cabin/Tent Leader – May 25-27,June 22-24, June 29-August 26
Cabin Leaders are responsible for leading a cabin or tent of 10 campers each week with the
assistance of a Jr. Cabin Leader. Leaders are also expected to instruct/assist in a skill, and to assist with the program as directed. Must be at least 18 years of age. Preference will be given to applicants with at least one year of post secondary education. Paintball Experience preferable for DIRT Tent Leaders.
Work Crew Bosses – May 21-August 26
Work Crew Bosses will work closely with the camp director and site manager to organize the Work Crew program. Each session will have 10-12 participants. Activities include work (7-9hrs / day), play (1 hr), Bible Study and devotions (1.5 hr) and leadership training (1hr). Bosses function as “Cabin Leaders” to Work Crew. Work Crew applicants are screened prior to selection. Work Crew is perhaps the most challenging and rewarding position at camp. If you have a heart for discipleship and you love hard work, this could be the best job you ever had!
Program Director – May 21-August 26
The Program Director works in conjunction with the team to plan and implement the summer program (schedule, games and events, skills as needed). This position also includes training, directing, and encouraging the Cabin Leaders. Good communication and organizational skills are a must!
Riding Director – May 7-August 26
The Riding Director is responsible for overseaing all the teaching and instruction of our horsemanship program. They lead and guide the wranglers to get the job done. Providing creativity and excitement with our horses demands someone with good communication skills and a love for horses. Prior experience with horses is a must.
Head Lifeguard – May 25-27,June 22-24, June 29-August 26
Head Lifeguard is responsible for providing a safe and fun program at our pool. This position is responsible to the camp director. Must be 18 years old and must have NLS and WSI certification valid through time at camp. Please provide copies of certification with application
Worship/Discipleship – May 25-August 20
Worship Coordinator is in charge of leading the camp in times of worship. Utilizing music, drama and the arts to help lead the camp in worship during our chapels and campfires. As part of the team they will also help mentor and disciple some of our Cabin Leaders throughout the summer. Prior experience leading a team is a must.
Spring Staff
Traditionally some summer staff arrive early to help with our many school rentals. This provides a great opportunity to showcase camp to hundreds of potential campers!
Energy will also be focused on setting up and improving our site. If you are able to join us from June 4 – June 28, please indicate your availability on your application.
